Senior Broker/Partner
Gretchen Miller is a Senior Partner at Transtar. A graduate of the University of Southern California, Gretchen was national director of promotions for women's sports for Converse Shoe Company. Working on promotional events with sports figures such as Jimmy Conners, Chris Evert, Tony Dorset and Larry Bird has given Gretchen a perspective on designing and implementing a marketing plan that few individuals could ever receive.
As a broker with Transtar, Gretchen has an extensive background in representing tenants to assist them in finding new corporate locations. She also designs marketing plans to aid in the lease-up of commercial projects. Representing owners and tenants in the competitive world of commercial real estate has been second nature to Gretchen. She grew up in the world of competitive tennis, played at Wimbledon, became a two-time All American at USC and was a seven-time US national champion. Gretchen brings this successful and competitive background to bear on every project she undertakes for Transtar and its client.

Gary Martinez is an Associate at Transtar Commercial Real Estate Services. Gary specializes in the industrial and office market with an emphasis in North Orange County. Gary’s diverse background in owner/landlord representation, tenant/owner representation, consulting, build-to-suit transactions, property management, and sophisticated analysis with development and investment opportunities has enabled Gary to maintain strong relationships with his clients, real estate firms, and private investors. Gary’s commitment and ability to thoroughly view each transaction and property requirements has made Gary an illustrious asset to his clients.
During the past four years Gary has successfully negotiated over 400 transactions, resulting in more than $10 million in acquisitions. Gary’s dedication and accomplishments have made him a well known and well liked associate throughout the marketplace.

Sara Mathis is an Associate with Transtar, and brings a wealth of experience in both real estate and law. Sara completed the Juris Doctorate Program from Chapman University in 2006 and has an excellent grasp on the many legal complexities of real estate. She also holds a BA degree in English from Chapman University, with an emphasis in pre-law. Her past experience includes working with the Fair Housing Counsel of Orange County as a Landlord-Tenant Counselor.
Since Sara has joined Transtar, she has focused primarily on the industrial market in North Orange County. She is very familiar with industrial leases and sales activity and is well-suited to make sure the relationship between owner and tenant is a positive one. Teaming up with a seasoned broker like Gary Martinez gives her the edge over her competition. Associate Broker
Matt Inman is a new Associate with Transtar where he specializes in full service commercial real estate brokerage. He is responsible for office/industrial leasing and sales transactions in the Southern Orange County marketplace.
Prior to joining Transtar, Mr. Inman was a development project manager with a private real estate development and investment company located in Newport Beach. He is a graduate of Pepperdine University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is currently a member of NAIOP and the Urban Land Institute.
Matt is easy to work with and offers a hassle-free experience. He knows how to listen to the people he represents and works hard to meet their needs.
